Egypt

Apparently, police are terrible the whole world over.  While 'revolutionaries' torched nearly all of the police stations in Cairo, the Egyptian army moved in to protect infrastructure and historic locations; "There were no clashes reported between protesters and the military at all, and many in the crowds showered soldiers with affection."

It says a lot about a countries police force when people in the midst of a revolution would rather have their army there instead of their police.  I wonder who we'd rather have around in such a situation?
